What is Mix & Match?

The modular toolbox system for every task.

Einhell E-Case Mix & Match solves the classic toolbox problem: confusing compartments, duplicate tools, rigid configuration. The system separates tools by task categories—with thematically arranged tool pads that you can combine freely.

The logic is simple:

  • E-Case is the sturdy tool case that serves as the basis.
  • Inside, there is space for two tool pads.
  • You choose from pads with different configurations.
  • You combine two pads – and your Mix & Match tool case is ready.

Select E-Case

You start with an empty Einhell E-Case case. It is stackable, robust, and forms the basis for the Mix & Match system.

Several tool pads filled with different assortments of hand tools — including screwdrivers, pliers, sockets, hex keys, and more — are arranged fan-shaped above an Einhell E-Case.

Select two pads

From the Pad Worlds, you can choose those that suit your projects—e.g., “Pliers” + “Electrical tools.”

Insert & done

Insert pads, close the case, and get started. When your application changes, simply swap out a pad—your Mix & Match case stays the same.

When will the E-Case Mix & Match System be available?

From January 2026, the system will be available online in an initial phase. On the order page, all available variants, pad combinations and dealer information will then be provided.

How many pads fit in a Mix & Match case?

Two tool pads are used per E-Case Mix & Match case.

Can the pads be replaced or added later on?

Yes. That’s the core of the concept: if needed, one of the pads is replaced and the case is adapted to new projects.

Are there ready-made mix and match toolboxes?

Yes, there are currently eight fully equipped Mix & Match tool cases to choose from, covering typical applications.

Is the system compatible with the existing Einhell E-Case?

Yes. Mix & Match is based on the Einhell E-Case system. The system fits into the familiar E-Case world and complements it with modular tool pads.
